New guitar just in time for new show

Today I went to my favorite guitar shop and picked up a new Fender Telecaster. I've had my eye on it for a while now but just haven't had the money for it. But this month I was able to raise the yen and the beautiful all black Telecaster you see below became mine. So, needless to say, I took her home and gave her a good strumming ;). Anyway, it's a real boost for me ahead of next month's show.

久しぶり

It's been so long since I posted anything on this blog. I simply have been too busy and really haven't had much to say either with regards to music or films.

I shot a video for Japanese Indies band Molice last month and I am currently editing it with a view to having it finished by the end of this month.

Next month my band MJ Ultra will be playing live for the first time in 6 months. We will be playing at Dress in Akihabara on November 15th.

Finally, I found this picture of Radiohead from around 1998 on the Guardian Unlimited website; they were doing a retrospective on the band to commemorate the release of In Rainbows.. If you look carefully you can see it was taken in Tokyo. Which I think is pretty cool considering they're my favorite band.
