(project) Kiss at TPJ
There is now an official page for (project) kiss at tribalpicturesjapan.com.

I have made an introductory video. This is nothing to do with my own Kiss video. Just something to warm things up. It features some old and new film stills. And, some video footage of me kissing in my film Girl Alone. The backwards guitar loop is also by me. It's from a song that I'm calling Rain Child, that I hope may become an MJ Ultra song some day.

Dystopia
This is a short music video that I have been working on over the weekend. It's called Dystopia and it's all about the end of the world I guess, about how so many people are falling apart in front of their TV sets and trapped in the mundane routines of their lives.
The music is provided by my good friend in The UK, Joseph Harper, and all the still images are by me, either shot in Japan on my Olympus camera (walls/bars) or from my Art College days in the photography studio (the guy being tortured) and my unfurnished college apartment (the girl alone in the room). I had been looking for a way of using these photographs for a while, so I was pleased to finally get them up on the screen.
Actually, it was the photograph of the girl alone, taken in about 1996, that inspired me to write the script for Girl Alone, my second short film in Japan.
All the TV stuff I shot at night in my apartment. You may even notice a quick scene from Spiderman flash up before your eyes.
It's dark and brooding, of course. I've uploaded it to YouTube for now but I will have a WMV version on tribalpicturesjapan.com soon enough.

Into summer with a kiss
Not much to report on either the Film making or music fronts.
I am still trying to gather some people for my Kiss Project. I've had some interest so far from Tommy Cuellar and Michi Kudoh. But, I'm still on the search for film crew and actors for my video project. As more people get involved I will reveal more about the project.
I put an ad in Metropolis magazine this week to recruit some people and I hope to get some responses soon.
Below is another one of my Shizuoka keitai photos from that I took last weekend.

Shizuoka
I took a little trip down to Shizuoka this weekend with my family. Didn't take my video camera or my stills camera, but I had my cellphone with me and that has a 2.0M pixels camera. So, I took a few pictures and then manipulated them a little on IrfanView tonight. Turned out surprisingly well I think.
